What is a Virtual Tour?
There is some confusion over what constitutes a virtual tour. Many companies take the existing listing photos, create a slideshow, and call it a virtual tour. Others may even go as far as taking panoramic images, but don't know how to properly display them.
The criteria for a true virtual tour:
Shot by a professional: Virtual tours use specialized camera equipment and shooting techniques.
360° Panoramic Images: Using professional editing software, several images are stitched together to create a single photograph with no visible edges.
Full Coverage: Virtual Tours intermix standard photographs of additional rooms that aren't covered with panoramic images. At Tally Tours, we take photographs of every room, giving us more options in the virtual tour, and enabling us to send our customers a full package of images to use on the MLS and other marketing materials.
Interactive virtual 3D display environment: The cornerstone of a virtual tour system is the display environment. We use the powerful Real Tour Vision platform, which was built from the ground up specifically for real estate, it's easy to use, and looks beautiful.

What is a Slideshow Tour?
Slideshows are the most common type of photo display for real estate, and some real estate sites have this option built-in to their existing service. Many sites improperly classify these as "virtual tours" and they often appear cluttered, are difficult to use, and the real estate agent can't link them to other websites. We have solved all of those problems with our simple and elegant Slideshow Tour.

Frequently asked questions from home sellers
Does my agent use Tally Tours?
The majority of real estate agents do not use professional photography or virtual tours. This is a very competitive business and real estate agents are some of the most dedicated and hard working professionals you will meet. Full time agents log 60+ hour work weeks; the marketing of your home is expensive and time consuming. Just because your agent doesn't offer Virtual Tours doesn't mean they aren't a good agent.
Can I order a tour?
Yes. As a seller you have a lot of expenses to consider in the sale of your home that aren't normally covered by your agent. While some agents do offer some of these services are part of your listing agreement, you can always add additional products that will help sell your home more quickly. I believe virtual tours are the most effective marketing products a home can have; I am a former agent myself who started Tally Tours out of that realization.
Do you offer discounts for sellers?
